Arrowmont Property May Be Sold to Developer

If you haven't heard about it already, our Fraternity is currently in negotiations to sell the land we own in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (that we lease to Arrowmont), to an undisclosed developer. I'm sorry I didn't share this information with you sooner...I'm just finding out about this myself in the last few days.

The proposed sale of the 72 acres of land that is home to Arrowmont has created quite a stir within our organization and in the Gatlinburg region. Our Grand Council has posted information regarding the sale on the Pi Phi Web site at http://www.pibetaphi.org/. I hope you will take a moment to read their statements, seek out the facts and make your own informed opinion.

Pi Phi states that one of the reasons for the sale is Arrowmont's projected inability to support itself for more than 3 or 4 more years. If you would like to send your financial support to Arrowmont, go to http://www.arrowmont.org/foa-donation-form06.html

If you need more information about the proposed Arrowmont sale, let me know at president@ringching.com. Most of what I know I have found out myself by doing Google searches, so I'll help you if I can!
